Planes, Planes and updates

Welcome once again into the wonderful world of Brick Blog. Thanks to all the wonderful and encouraging messages I have received over the last few weeks….all of them asked me to provide a bl**dy update to the blog. So here it is – not as detailed as I wanted but timescales and timezones have messed it all up…as if by magic the bedrooms are complete Bedroom One – Charlie And Two – Steph’s Sorry for the short update – once my head gets into the same time zone I will update with more. Things can only get better

So more time for the blog this week – which is good as so much seems to happen in just 5 days – and putting this together acts as review for us to see how far the work has progressed and more importantly how much more work is to follow. As promised the half-term break allowed for our builders to sharpen (?) their hammers and to bash three bells out of the walls and other structures not previously touched. The kitchen wall was first. Blimey gov’ I used to have a wall there

So its half term and the arrangements was that my wonderful girlies, including Claire, would de-camp to the seaside in Essex (inlaws) this week to allow me to live in the mess the builders were about to inflict on the house when knocking through. Guess what – things have changed, only Charlie is not around, out in Cornwall with my sister leaving Stephanie, Claire and me….and a set of builders with a damm big hammer. I can feel the grit in my keyboard as I write this…and its only Monday. Snow, pipes and windows

Brrrr – this global warming has really hit home this week – it turned up in happy Hertford with a chefs’ outfit, a cook book and its’ signature dish – SNOW !! Don’t get me wrong the builders have turned up on all days (including last Saturday) but progress according to them has been slow….but as my saff London mate might say ‘ ave a look at this….its bonkers !!
